afridev pump question

my hand pump can not pump water again and the handle tends to Go down with force after lifting. what could be the cause?

Could be that there is not enough waterin the riser to hold handle up, or that you might have a separated pump rod or that your foot valve is stuck open. Could be any one of these things but you won't know for sure without pulling the pump and finding the exact problem.
